## Description

We are seeking experienced Chefs to join our regional Queensland operations. As a Chef with Sodexo, you will prepare meals across breakfast, crib and dinner services, work in a high-volume catering environment, maintain food safety and HACCP standards, deliver consistent quality and presentation, and work as part of a supportive kitchen team.

The role is based in a busy village environment, providing quality meals that help keep our mining communities running safely and efficiently. This is a FIFO role from Townsville on a 14:7 roster, working 11-hour days. Casual opportunities are available with the potential for permanent placement for high-performing employees.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery

- Experience in bulk catering or high-volume kitchens

- FIFO, DIDO or remote site experience desirable but not essential

- Strong food safety and hygiene knowledge

- Ability to work well in a team and independently

- Ability to work in remote environments and varying weather conditions

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
