## Description

Utah County Elections is seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to assist with the Elections. Election Workers provide essential support to ensure elections are conducted accurately, efficiently, securely, and in accordance with established election procedures.

**Responsibilities:**

- Set up voting equipment, ballots, signage, privacy areas, and other vote center materials.

- Check in voters and verify registration and eligibility according to established procedures.

- Provide voters with appropriate ballots and explain voting procedures and equipment without influencing voter choices.

- Protect ballot secrecy and voter privacy.

- Maintain an orderly and accessible voting environment.

- Follow election laws, policies, security requirements, and established procedures.

- Monitor voting equipment and supplies and report problems as needed.

- Provide permitted assistance to voters while maintaining voter independence and privacy.

- Reconcile ballots and voting records at the close of voting.

- Secure ballots, voting equipment, and other election materials at the end of the voting period.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Must be a registered voter in Utah.

- Ability to follow detailed instructions and established election procedures.

- Ability to work accurately and maintain attention to detail.

- You cannot be related to any candidate appearing on the ballot at the polling place where you serve.

**Pay Range:** $19.50-$21.00 per hour, depending on assignment. **Benefits:** No Benefits
