## Description

Join Amazon's Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team as a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice (MRA). You'll learn to combine electronic, mechanical, computer, and automation engineering skills in a workplace setting. Your role involves working with complex manufacturing systems, analyzing issues, and performing repairs to maintain process efficiency. Key responsibilities include ensuring safety regulations are followed, assisting in equipment installation, maintenance, and repair, and conducting preventative maintenance to high standards.

You will be paired with experienced technicians and work across various facilities, including high-automation and robotics sites. Effective communication, teamwork, and self-motivation are essential. You'll develop your skills and be mentored by senior technicians.

Key responsibilities:

- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on conveyance equipment

- Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells

- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with material handling equipment

- Maintain and troubleshoot various equipment components

- Move up to 49lbs, stand and walk during shifts, climb ladders and gangways safely, and perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching

Program requirements:

- Flexibility to relocate after program completion

- Ability to attend a 9-week training at one of four designated training providers

- Meet the minimum qualifying score on a Mechanical Aptitude Test

Basic qualifications:

- High School Diploma

- 1+ years of PC software experience, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

- Vocational/technical training, an associate degree or above, or 1+ years of Amazon RME experience

- Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items

- Knowledge of mathematics

- Experience with measurement reading and interpretation

- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays
