## Description

As Head of Legal Operations at Braze, you will lead Legal Operations and report to the SVP, Legal, Privacy & Ops. You will own the strategy, roadmap, technology architecture, and data behind how the global legal department works.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the Legal Operations strategy, multi-year roadmap, and OKRs

- Build and lead a small team, starting with a Legal Operations Analyst

- Own the architecture of the legal technology stack, including Salesforce, Jira, Ironclad, and OneTrust

- Drive automation of manual legal workflows and integrate systems end-to-end

- Turn contract population into structured, queryable data and build reporting layer

- Manage legal technology vendor selection, evaluation, commercial negotiation, renewals, spend, and performance

- Define and execute the department's AI roadmap

- Design, document, and implement new processes between Legal and its business partners

- Run the operational backbone of the department's compliance obligations

- Act as Legal's operational counterpart to IT, Business Systems, Finance, Procurement, and other departments

Required Qualifications:

- Substantial legal operations leadership experience at a scaling technology company

- Demonstrated people leadership and technical expertise across legal and go-to-market systems

- Track record of legal technology vendor selection and commercial negotiation

- Proven ability to define a roadmap and deliver change across a global, cross-functional organization

- Strong analytical skills and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in the SaaS industry

- Understanding of data protection and privacy concepts

- Experience deploying AI in a legal function in production

- Experience owning a legal service desk or ticketing-based intake function at scale
