## Description

At Bayer, we're seeking an R&D Electrical Engineer - Medical Device to join our team in Indianola, PA. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a supporting role in designing and integrating medium-complexity electronic design elements while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Your primary responsibilities will include defining requirements for simple designs and material selection, achieving understanding of the product and clinical applications, and understanding direct interfaces (inputs/outputs) within the relevant processes.

You will lead design reviews of simple designs, participate in other design reviews as a supplementary reviewer, write verification protocols for simple designs, and manage or perform the execution of the protocols, analyze results, and write reports.

As an ideal candidate, you will have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, basic knowledge of other technical disciplines (i.e. software), introductory experience in using worst-case analysis to ensure designs meet performance and manufacturability requirements, and proven ability to manage the technical aspects of simple design projects.

You will also have excellent oral, written, and listening skills, high-performance orientation, project achievement, and strong attention to detail, proficiency with schematic entry tools (preferably OrCAD) and mathematical analysis tools (preferably Mathcad), and working knowledge of PC operating systems, including Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
