## Description

We are seeking an experienced inpatient Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Hospitalist team at St. George Regional Hospital on an as-needed basis (PRN). The successful candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care and outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting comprehensive assessments, including history and physical examinations

- Developing, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans in collaboration with attending physicians

- Managing acute and chronic medical conditions, including initiating appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic interventions

- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care

- Facilitating communication between patients, families, and healthcare teams

- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans

- Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements

- Participating in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives

The ideal candidate will have:

- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Utah

- Board certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-ACNP), or Physician Assistant (PA-C)

- DEA Certificate II through V

- ACLS and BLS certification for healthcare providers

- Inpatient APP experience, preferably in a hospitalist or critical care setting

- Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
