## Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team at MTC Ansty in Coventry. This role is key to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

- General cleaning of office and communal areas, including desks, floors, kitchens, and washrooms

- Dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces

- Waste collection and disposal in line with site procedures

- Replenishing consumables such as soap and paper towels

- Ensuring cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly

- Following COSHH regulations and site health & safety procedures

- Reporting maintenance issues or hazards promptly

- Supporting additional cleaning duties during event evenings

**Skills & Experience Required**

- Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably in a commercial environment

- Good knowledge of cleaning products and methods

- Understanding of COSHH regulations

- Awareness of Health & Safety practices in the workplace

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Strong attention to detail

- Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work

- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, particularly during events

**Additional Requirements** Due to limited public transport availability during evening hours, applicants must have a reliable means of travelling to and from the site.

**Desirable Skills**

- Experience cleaning in high-traffic or event environments

- Knowledge of infection control procedures

- Experience using professional cleaning equipment
