## Description

Spire Murrayfield Hospital is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital. The successful candidate will work 22.5 hours per week, with shifts including 3 x 7.5 hour shifts during the week and 1 weekend shift per month.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in line with housekeeping and infection control policies

- Complete cleaning schedules to ensure rooms are ready for occupation and public areas are clean

- Collaborate with Senior Housekeeper and report any concerns

- Work closely with clinical staff to understand hospital needs

- Perform day-to-day maintenance of equipment and report faults or shortages

- Comply with Health and Safety regulations, including COSHH

- Adhere to moving and handling guidelines

- Maintain quality assurance and patient confidentiality

Essential Skills:

- Experience in a customer-facing environment

- Previous housekeeping experience

- Ability to work unsupervised and prioritize tasks

- Positive and flexible approach to customer service

- Good communication skills

- Willingness to complete mandatory training for COSHH, Manual Handling, Infection Control, food hygiene, and Health & Safety
