## Description

As a Senior Sales Engineer for the Industrial Adhesives and Tapes Division at 3M Belgium, you will have the opportunity to utilize your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people worldwide.

Your main objectives will be:

- Managing your own sales region in Belgium by approaching new and existing customers

- Following up on daily leads and managing your pipeline

- Increasing focus on key accounts within a set number of large end-user accounts

- Expanding your opportunity pipeline with profitable projects

- Achieving sales targets for the Industrial Adhesives and Tapes business

- Collaborating with supporting teams such as Marketing, Application Engineering, and Converter- and Channel Management

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A bachelor's degree or higher from a recognized institution

- Demonstrable experience in a sales function, preferably with a strong focus on developing new business opportunities

- Proven ability to actively prospect, cold acquire, and convert new leads into profitable customer opportunities

- Strong motivation to identify and acquire new customers, with less emphasis on managing existing accounts and more focus on expanding the customer base

- Strong skills in account and project planning, with the ability to build and manage a healthy opportunity pipeline

- Proficiency in Dutch, English, and French

Additional knowledge or skills that can help you succeed in this role include:

- A technical background or strong interest in product and/or process engineering

- Experience in relevant industrial or B2B markets

- Excellent PC and CRM skills, including Office 365 and Salesforce

- Strong prioritization, communication, and follow-up skills
