## Description

Working as a Starbucks Barista at Target involves providing an exceptional guest experience, maintaining a clean and organised store environment, and ensuring high-quality food and beverages. You will be responsible for taking orders, preparing drinks, and serving customers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience

- Greet guests, help them find what they need, and resolve issues promptly

- Actively support team efforts and maintain a positive attitude

- Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience

- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience

- Uphold and maintain the execution of Food & Beverage Standards

- Execute food and beverage processes, including replenishment, inventory accuracy, and food safety

- Maintain an inviting dining area for guests

- Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations

- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications

- Follow all food safety requirements and complete cleaning tasks

- Locate and identify damaged or expired items and process according to best practices

- Ensure accurate in-stocks and follow proper perishable inventory procedures

- Execute sampling best practices and complete required training requirements

- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance

- Work in a safe manner and report hazards

- Support guest services such as back-up cashier and order pick-up

Requirements:

- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required

- Welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members

- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes

- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment

- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues

- Interpret instructions, reports, and information

- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed

- Climb up and down ladders if needed

- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely

- Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

- Ability to work in environments with refrigeration and freezer temperatures
