## Description

As an LGV 2 Driver with Biffa Waste Services, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness of local environments and communities.

Working as part of a crew, you will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, boxes and bags from householders and carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.

Responsibilities include:

- Driving LGV waste collection vehicles

- Collecting and emptying bins, boxes and bags from householders

- Carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking

- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects

- Safely manoeuvring and operating a large rigid vehicle

Requirements:

- Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence

- Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card

- Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety

- Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects

- Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements

- Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle

- Good communication and customer service skills

- Good awareness of health & safety procedures
