## Description

We are seeking a Full Time, Days Registered Nurse (RN) to join our BMT Clinic team at LDS Hospital.

As a professional caregiver, you will assume responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients.

**Position Details**

- Full Time, Days position

- Four 9-hour shifts per week

- 1 weekend shift every three weeks from 07:30 - 11:30

- 3 holidays per year required

**Essential Functions**

- Assess patients' physical, social, and psychological status, including cognitive, communicative, and developmental skills as appropriate.

- Plan and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

- Implement and direct interdisciplinary care teams via delegation, coordination, and collaboration as appropriate.

- Evaluate patient responses to interventions and revise care plans as necessary.

- Promote the nursing profession and participate in the development of others.

**Requirements**

- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Utah.

- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four years of their hire date.

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN).

- >1 year of licensed RN experience.

**Physical Requirements**

- Ongoing need to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.

- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require verbal communication, hearing, and understanding.

- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy.

- Expected to lift and utilise full range of movement to transfer patients, bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment.

- Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment.
