## Description

We are seeking an Origination Enabler, Associate to join our Investment Banking and Capital Markets (IBCM) team in Mumbai.

The IBCM team is comprised of regional and industry-focused coverage teams that ensure the delivery of a range of financial products and services to our clients.

As an Origination Enabler, Associate, you will primarily work on origination and execution of transactions such as capital raising, M&A, corporate restructurings, and ratings as part of the Industrials Sector Coverage team.

Key responsibilities:

- Work with senior bankers on the analysis and development of transaction ideas for discussion with clients

- Assist in the preparation of pitchbooks for origination and execution of M&A, Debt, Equity, and associated rating mandates

- Respond to request for proposals (RfPs) and help draft pitches for new business development

- Develop investment thesis, including analyst presentations, roadshow presentations, and information memorandums

- Conduct in-depth analysis of companies, sectors, and transactions, including company profiles, financial modeling, valuation, industry analysis, benchmarking, credit analysis, and transaction structure

- Work as an integral member of deal teams on mandated transactions

- Coordinate transactions internally and with clients and third parties

Requirements:

- MBA Finance or Engineering or CAs with 3-7 years of experience in broader finance roles

- Comprehensive knowledge of financial statements and accounting concepts

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Driven and motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills

- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
