## Description

Working as a Guest Advocate at Target means helping guests have an easy, inspiring, and friendly shopping experience.

You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, greeting guests, and assisting them in finding what they need.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver exceptional guest service by greeting guests, helping them find what they need, and resolving issues

- Operate a cash register, handle cash transactions, and support cash office operations as needed

- Scan, bag, and handle merchandise efficiently and safely

- Work efficiently to minimise guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy

- Make guests aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events

- Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application, sign-up, and sign-in as needed

- Be familiar with all fulfilment services and know how to direct guests to enrol, activate, and use them

- Understand and show guests how to use Wallet and other features and offerings within the Target App

- Attempt every return and follow register prompts, partnering with leaders as needed to help solve issues for the guest

- Partner with leaders as needed to de-escalate any situations and recover the guest shopping experience

- Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area

- Stock supplies during store open hours while being available for guests

- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance

Requirements:

- Enjoy interacting and helping others

- Thrive in a fast-moving, highly active, and physically demanding role

- Open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days, or shifts

- Communicate effectively, including using positive language and being attentive to guests' needs

- Capable of remaining focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplishing multiple tasks within established timeframes

- Welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and other team members

- Attention to detail while multi-tasking

- Willing to educate guests and engage around products and services

- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed

- Work both independently and with a team

- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
