## Description

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Solutions Architect, Retail to define and direct technical strategies for large retail and CPG accounts.

You will work closely with the Account Executive to lead clients on a transformational journey, evaluating and adopting Databricks as part of their strategy.

Key responsibilities:

- Work with 1-5 clients as the main technical voice for Databricks

- Lead customers on a transformational journey, helping them evaluate and adopt Databricks

- Implement technical strategies in accounts, understanding the strategy

- Build a movement of technical champions within accounts

- Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions

- Provide structured mentorship for other team members

Requirements:

- 8+ years of experience in large enterprises (> $1m ARR) in Retail and CPG

- 5+ years in pre-sales or supporting sales activities

- Technical expertise in big data, data science, and cloud

- Ability in data-driven business transformation and driving change with data

- 3+ years of experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, and OLAP or full lifecycle data science solutions

- Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java

- Nice to have: Databricks Certification

The pay range for this role is $139,900-$247,300 USD.
