## Description

GitLab is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to drive growth by helping mid-market organisations adopt and expand its AI-powered DevSecOps platform across Australia.

The successful candidate will own and grow a book of mid-market commercial accounts, drive the full sales cycle, and meet or exceed quota by building strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

- Owning and growing a book of mid-market commercial accounts

- Driving the full sales cycle with commercial customers

- Meeting or exceeding quota through strong customer relationships

- Articulating the value of GitLab to mid-market prospects and customers

- Managing territory and documenting buying criteria and processes

- Collaborating with partners and internal teams to drive new business and support expansion

- Mentoring and coaching fellow Commercial Account Executives

The ideal candidate will have:

- Experience driving complex B2B software sales cycles and building trusted relationships

- Ability to quickly learn and sell a complex SaaS or DevSecOps platform

- Excellence in operational rigor for deal management

- Skill in managing and closing larger, more complex deals

- Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach peers

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
