## Description

Avery Healthcare Group Ltd. is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join their award-winning team as a Regional Bank Chef supporting their homes across Surrey, Chertsey and Marlow.

The Regional Bank Chef will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the culinary department, managing and guiding a culinary team dedicated to providing nutritionally balanced, comprehensive, and high-quality meals that enhance the overall well-being of the residents while staying within budget.

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing nutritionally balanced menu plans for approval by the Home Manager

- Supervising and directing the work of other kitchen staff

- Understanding the Avery Food Safety Management system to ensure all food preparation is to the highest standards of hygiene

- Placing food orders with approved suppliers

The ideal candidate will have:

- Experience in managing a busy kitchen and a minimum of 5 years' culinary experience

- Knowledge of health and safety, as well as current food safety legislation

- NVQ 3 in Food Production or equivalent/City and Guilds 706-1 706-2 Catering qualifications/Trained in IDDSI/textured modified diets

- Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate leadership qualities

Avery Healthcare Group Ltd. offers a salary of £18.50 per hour.

This role will require a DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare, and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
