## Description

As a Solutions Engineer Intern, you will work at the intersection of engineering, data, and Pinterest's advertising and revenue ecosystem.

**What you'll do:**

- Complete assigned technical projects with attention to quality, incorporating feedback from your mentor, manager, and peers.

- Execute scoped technical tasks end-to-end that contribute to Pinterest products and infrastructure.

- Build, test, debug, and improve code, scripts, automations, internal tools, or data workflows using guidance from experienced engineers.

- Investigate technical issues using logs, data, documentation, and structured troubleshooting.

- Participate in scheduled engineering on-call coverage during regular workdays and working hours.

- Partner with Engineering, Product, Sales, Operations, and Support teams to understand requirements and contribute to practical solutions.

- Help improve reporting, monitoring, documentation, sample code, or support processes.

- Use approved AI tools to accelerate research, coding, analysis, and documentation.

**What we're looking for:**

- Current enrollment in a school or education program working towards a Bachelor's in Computer Science, engineering, information systems, or a related technical field.

- Foundational understanding of programming concepts, debugging, and testing.

- Experience writing and debugging code in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.

- Clear communication of technical thinking and effective collaboration with teammates.

- Comfort working with structured data in tables or CSV files and using spreadsheets to organize or review data.

- Experience using AI tools to support learning, research, or technical problem-solving.

**Internship Details:**

- 2 internship start dates: May 17, 2027, August 6, 2027, June 14, 2027, September 3, 2027.

- Hybrid or remote work options available.

**Salary:**

- $7,500 - $9,500 monthly.
