## Description

We are seeking a Rigger to join our team at Ubisoft Barcelona. As a Rigger, you will bridge the needs between modellers and animators to maximize efficiency of rigging and skinning. You will work closely with the technical director to create tools that the animators will need.

Responsibilities:

- Carry out character rigging and skinning based on models provided by character modellers.

- Adjust the skeleton whenever necessary.

- Create and use tools to increase animation quality and effectiveness.

- Coach modellers on adapting their work to better suit animation and art direction.

- Configure ragdolls and suggest in-game softbody configurations.

- Ensure good use of project naming conventions and create selection sets in master scenes.

- Ensure rigging/skinning final results meet artistic standards.

- Carry out all other related tasks.

Qualifications:

- 2-3 years of experience in video game modelling and/or animation.

- Knowledge of controllers, Max Script, Python, Motion Builder, IK, and Character Studio.

- Basic knowledge of animation and modelling.

- Extensive anatomical knowledge.

- College diploma in 3D technical animation for video games or equivalent.
