## Description

This role will function as part of the Performance Monitoring & Diagnostic Center, providing remote monitoring and support to SPC's generation and storage fleet.

The successful candidate will provide advanced condition monitoring and analysis of data important to the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of SPC's solar, wind, and energy storage assets.

Key responsibilities include:

* Monitoring SPC's solar, wind, and energy storage assets with AVEVA Predictive Analytics, iSight, or other performance monitoring tools
* Monitoring and communicating the health of SPC's renewable fleet transformers
* Leading and improving the development of SPC's renewable energy monitoring processes
* Collaborating with performance engineers to bring performance and reliability insights to customers
* Developing and improving the reliability portion of SPC's internal automated issue identification tool, iSight
* Managing renewable model health of all renewable pattern recognition / predictive models
* Tracking and reporting KPIs and renewable observations for M&D and Renewable Performance

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building trends and analyzing data, as well as knowledge and experience in monitoring transformers and operations and maintenance in renewable energy technologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret time-series data, are essential. Proven interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to produce business cases to justify financial investment decisions, technology tools / upgrades, etc., are also required.

In addition, the successful candidate will be able to make timely decisions, apply seasoned judgment, and display personal responsibility, and will be a team player able to quickly build good, working relationships.
