We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for analysing large datasets to gain insights and improve our racing performance.

**Responsibilities:**

- Collect and process large datasets from various sources, including telemetry data, weather forecasts, and track conditions

- Develop and implement machine learning models to predict racing outcomes and identify areas for improvement

- Collaborate with our engineering team to integrate data-driven insights into our racing strategy

- Develop and maintain data visualisation tools to communicate insights to the team

- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science and machine learning

- Work closely with our data engineer to ensure data quality and integrity

**Requirements:**

- PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field

- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or MATLAB

- Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch

- Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data visualisation techniques

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

**Preferred Skills:**

- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases

- Knowledge of SQL and database design

- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud

- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
