## Description

Scargill Junior School is looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and inspirational part-time KS2 Class Teacher to join their team from January 2027, providing maternity cover.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations of teaching, learning, and pupil outcomes. They will have experience of teaching in Key Stage 2 and a secure understanding of the KS2 curriculum.

Responsibilities include:

- Providing an inclusive, engaging, and purposeful learning environment

- Having high expectations of behaviour, attitudes, and achievement

- Using assessment effectively to identify and address pupils' needs and accelerate progress

- Building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families

- Being reflective, collaborative, and keen to contribute to the wider life of the school
