**THIS IS A 3rd SHIFT POSITION**

**SUMMARY**

Supports production of ACCRA hot forming lines from a technical standpoint. Focus on robotic manufacturing equipment at ovens, press, and plasma cells including all preventative maintenance programs by performing the following duties within an automotive environment.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

- Supports Production Operations.

- Troubleshoot robotic programs and modify/adjust as needed.

- Create robotic programs from scratch as needed.

- Troubleshoot and repair various types of electrical controls, drives, communications, wiring, robot paths etc.

- Ability to comprehend PLC logic and its relationship to the robot’s programming.

- Ability to comprehend field devices such as vision systems, fieldbus systems, safety components, and their relationships to the PLC and robots.

- Assist technical services in machine repair, change over, set up and operation as required.

- Effectively train, coach and mentor other Technicians to improve their skills.

- Perform all preventative maintenance requirements as scheduled.

- Have mechanical aptitude that compliments electrical capabilities.

- Ability to schedule time, materials and equipment required to perform tasks, and to properly use and complete required documentation.

- Assist in keeping a spare parts inventory.

- Have a professional customer service attitude and ability to communicate with all levels of associates.
