Join the BBC as a Data Analyst Apprentice and kick-start your career in a role you'll love. As a Data Analyst apprentice, you will work on real projects, learn from industry experts, and help shape a data-driven future. You will develop skills in collecting, analysing, and presenting data, turning information into clear insights.

Your key responsibilities and impact:

- Work with real data to uncover trends, solve problems, and support decision-making.

- Learn how data helps shape services, projects, and performance across the organisation.

- Develop skills in collecting, analysing, and presenting data, turning information into clear insights.

- Create reports and visualisations that help colleagues understand and act on data.

- Understand the importance of data privacy, ethics, and responsible data use.

You will study for your industry-recognised apprenticeship qualification, learning both on and off the job. This means you will spend at least one day a week studying for a Level 4 Data Analyst qualification with our learning provider Cambridge Spark using its virtual delivery platform.

The News Data and Payments Team are a small team supporting our 24/7 global News operation. They design, build, and maintain data solutions in Excel, Smartsheet, Power Query, Power Automate, and Power BI.

To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you must:

- Be 18 years old or over by the time the apprenticeship begins in September 2027.

- Have lived in the UK continuously for the last three years prior to the start of the apprenticeship.

- Be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK for the entire duration of the apprenticeship.

- Not currently be enrolled in another apprenticeship programme, whether with the BBC or another organisation.

- Not already hold a qualification in the same subject area at the same or a higher level than this apprenticeship.
