Croft House Care Home in Great Dunmow is seeking an Assistant Chef to join their team on a bank contract. As an Assistant Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering an excellent dining experience for residents.

The home provides person-centred care, focusing on residents' individual needs and preferences. The chefs create well-crafted menus using fresh ingredients, catering to various ethnic groups and dietary requirements.

As an Assistant Chef at Croft House, you will:

- Create varied and nutritional menus that meet residents' dietary needs and preferences

- Contribute ideas to enhance the dining experience and make residents feel at home

- Train and manage the kitchen team in food preparation, cooking, and serving

- Adhere to COSHH and HACCP guidelines, company policies, and procedures

- Cater for special events and seasonal activities as required

To succeed in this role, you will need:

- Relevant hygiene certificates
