## Description

The Weekend Chef de Partie will play a key role within Jewish Care's Hospitality Team, supporting the delivery of high-quality catering services within our care homes and community services.

Working as part of the kitchen team, the postholder will assist the Sous Chef in delivering excellent food services and hospitality experiences for residents, visitors, and colleagues.

The role involves overseeing elements of food preparation and production, ensuring meals are prepared to a high standard, maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards, and supporting the delivery of menus that reflect individual dietary, cultural, and nutritional needs.

The successful candidate will have:

- City & Guilds 7051/7062 or equivalent qualification

- Health & Hygiene NVQ Level 2 or QCF equivalent

- Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in multi-site operations

- Experience of high standard food preparation

- Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergen awareness

- Knowledge of cultural requirements and producing a varied menu

- Awareness of waste disposal techniques and infection control

- Awareness of COSHH and CQC regulations

The post is working 16 hours per week, excluding breaks, on a part-time, permanent contract.

The salary is £16.54 an hour.
