## Description

Grab is Southeast Asia's leading superapp, providing various services including food delivery, financial management, and transportation. The GrabFood Analytics team is part of ACE Analytics, covering GrabFood, GrabMart, GrabExpress, and OmniCommerce.

As a Senior Data Scientist (Analytics), you will be the analytics owner and advisor for one to two GrabFood product problem spaces. You will work directly with the product manager, designers, engineers, and data scientists, and with country teams across the region.

Key responsibilities:

- Define metrics for your problem space

- Design and analyze controlled experiments

- Diagnose metric movements systematically

- Size opportunities and run proactive deep dives

- Oversee data specifications and instrumentation for new features

- Build dashboards and certified metrics

- Build AI-assisted analytics workflows

- Improve experimentation and analytical rigor

Requirements:

- At least 4 years in analytics or quantitative roles

- At least 2 years of experience owning metrics for a consumer product

- Fluent SQL and proficient Python or R

- Hands-on experience designing and analyzing controlled experiments

- Sound statistics applied to decisions

- Precise metric framing

- Structured solutioning on ambiguous questions

- Manage partner trade-offs

- Clear communication

- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
