## Description

HPE Networking is seeking a Principal Technical Marketing Engineer to lead the Technical Marketing Engineering Switching team and shape the future of self-driving networks.

The successful candidate will transform complex technologies into clear, compelling value propositions that accelerate adoption and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

- Architect and execute global technical marketing strategies for self-driving networks

- Synthesize complex autonomous networking concepts into compelling messaging, demos, and enablement content

- Establish and analyze rigorous success metrics, leveraging deep data insights to iterate on marketing tactics and quantify business impact

- Partner cross-functionally with product management to synchronize development roadmaps with market shifts, emerging technologies, and customer requirements

- Scale and inspire a world-class Technical Marketing Engineering (TME) team

Must-have qualifications:

- Expert technical mastery of full-stack ecosystems

- Proven track record of engineering complex, resilient switching fabrics

- Advanced proficiency in MP-BGP EVPN-VXLAN fabric architectures and networking stack protocols

- Deep understanding of Network Access Control (NAC/802.1X), MAC authentication, and IPsec

- Expert-level scripting skills (Python, YAML) and automation framework experience (Ansible)

Professional experience and leadership:

- Minimum 12+ years of deep solution-orientated technical experience

- Demonstrated success in designing and implementing large-scale enterprise networks

- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical architectures into value-based narratives

Logistics:

- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%) for customer engagements and industry events
