## Description

We have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer in our London office, focusing on the Data Centre sector with our Mission Critical Facilities team. You will work on exciting and technically challenging projects within this fast-paced sector.

Responsibilities:

- Support the team in developing conceptual designs for electrical distribution systems

- Provide advice to clients regarding electrical systems/requirements

- Lead the design of data centre electrical systems and equipment

- Produce written reports of system options

- Create technical specifications for electrical systems

- Ensure coordination with other disciplines

- Monitor installation of designed equipment/systems

- Be comfortable in a client-facing role discussing technical subjects

- Work independently and as part of the WSP global project team

Requirements:

- Chartered status with CIBSE or IET (or working towards)

- Technical knowledge of relevant UK & EU regulations

- IT literate with a technical understanding of relevant IT packages

- Understanding of ETAP software package for HV modelling

- Knowledge of the Neher-McGrath method of calculating underground cable temperatures

- Familiarity with Tier classifications as defined by The Uptime Institute

- Ability to work as part of a team and lead individuals

- Understanding of working with RevitMEP or other 3D design software

- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
