## Description

Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking interns for its Corporate M&A department in Paris from July to December 2027.

The Corporate M&A team at Norton Rose Fulbright Paris consists of 13 lawyers, including 4 partners, 3 counsels, and 5 associates. The team advises French and foreign groups and investors on various transactions, such as:

- Acquisitions and disposals of companies or assets;

- Fundraisings and investments;

- Joint ventures and other partnerships;

- Restructurings;

- Establishment in France or internationally.

The team's cases cover a wide range of sectors, including insurance, financial services, healthcare, and new technologies. In particular, the team has developed expertise in the insurance sector and advises many leading players.

The internship offers the opportunity to work with the entire team, including collaborators, counsels, and partners. Interns may be assigned tasks such as:

- Conducting legal research related to transactional cases;

- Drafting research notes on precise technical questions;

- Reviewing and participating in the drafting of transactional documentation;

- Drafting corporate documents;

- Preparing audits;

- Assisting in the management of transactional processes.

The ideal candidate is studying for a Master's degree or a Grande École diploma, is a trainee lawyer, or is registered with a foreign bar. They should have a solid understanding of French business law and excellent English skills. The ability to work in a team, be rigorous, dynamic, and committed to cases is essential.
