## Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Therapy Float Pool team at Atrium Health. As a Physical Therapist, you will support four Atrium Health Inpatient facilities and three Acute Care facilities across the Carolinas.

**Job Summary:** As a Physical Therapist, you will provide age-appropriate patient care, evaluate patients, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions. You will also communicate with patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

**Responsibilities:**

- Provide patient care appropriate to their age and needs

- Evaluate patients and develop care plans

- Implement evidence-based interventions, including education, exercise, and modalities

- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans as needed

- Communicate with patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation

- Participate in performance improvement initiatives

**Requirements:**

- Active Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of employment

- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers

- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution

- Clinical experience consistent with independent physical therapy practice

- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Multi-state licensure or experience practising across multiple care settings

- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)

- Prior float, multi-site, or diverse clinical setting experience
