## Description

Leidos has an opportunity for a Farsi Linguist at Offutt AFB in Omaha, NE. This position is part of a large program supporting Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission.

The Farsi Linguist will provide written translation of technical and non-technical data, write gists and summaries of materials, conduct open source research, write reports in English, and respond to requests for information.

Requirements include:

- Current DoD TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

- 4+ years of experience and an Associate's degree (or additional experience in lieu of degree)

- Ideal candidate will meet the minimum language proficiency requirements as defined by the Interagency Language Roundtable scale

- Ability to provide written translations of technical and non-technical material using correct syntax and expression from the native language to English

- Conduct open source research and compile research findings into comprehensive reports

- Provide cultural, social, and ethnic context of translations

- Work cooperatively as a team member and independently with minimal oversight

- Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with personnel from diverse cultures

- Proficiency with MS Office applications

The pay range for this position is $59,150.00 - $106,925.00.
