## Description

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team in Istanbul, Türkiye. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and supporting payroll processes for Turkey and other smaller payrolls in the region.

**Responsibilities:**

- Oversee end-to-end payroll runs, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery

- Manage pre-payroll validations, data cleansing, and exception handling

- Reconcile payroll outputs, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions

- Coordinate with local and global payroll vendors and internal platform owners

- Maintain and update country-specific payroll process documentation

- Support testing and deployment of payroll system changes

- Produce regular payroll reports and support KPI tracking

- Ensure compliance with local payroll regulations and statutory reporting requirements

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

**Basic Qualifications:**

- 5+ years hands-on payroll experience with demonstrated experience supporting Turkish & other regional payrolls

- 3+ years of practical experience with at least one global payroll platform and vendor-managed payroll environments

- 3+ Years of exposure to payroll reconciliations, statutory compliance, and payroll reporting

- Strong knowledge of Turkey payroll legislation, social security, taxes, and statutory filings

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business, or related field

- Familiarity with other payrolls concepts and statutory requirements

- Solid skills in gross-to-net calculations, benefits, deductions, off-cycle payments, and corrective payroll actions

- Proficient in post-payroll reconciliation, troubleshooting, and analytical root-cause techniques

- Understanding of upstream HR data flows and downstream integrations to finance and statutory reporting

- Strong spreadsheet skills and ability to extract, manipulate, and present payroll data

- Fluency in both English and Turkish
