We are seeking a Lead Data Analyst to join our team at Wise, a global technology company that aims to make moving and managing money instant, convenient, transparent, and free.

As a Lead Data Analyst - Financial Reporting, you will play a critical role in building the data infrastructure and automation that ensures our financial statements are accurate, consistent, and audit-ready as we scale globally.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Metric Ownership & Data Logic: Define and own the logic for key performance metrics, ensuring clear attribution for every line item in our financials.

- System & Ledger Integration: Ensure seamless data flow between internal data lakes and reporting tools like Anaplan and Planful.

- Audit Data Architecture: Structure complex data extracts and build 'source of truth' queries that prove our financial integrity.

- Stakeholder Partnership: Work closely with Finance leadership to provide structured reporting that ensures consistency across Wise's financial disclosures.

**Requirements:**

- Data Mastery: Strong quantitative foundation, comfortable navigating complex datasets, and able to write optimized SQL queries.

- Foundational Finance Literacy: Comfortable with basic financial concepts, including Balance sheet and P&L statements.

- Technical Agility: Quick learner with a willingness to master new tools and systems.
