## Description

We're seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator to support our operations at Herbert Parkinson, a proud part of the John Lewis Partnership. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.

**Responsibilities:**

- Promote a positive Health & Safety and Continuous Improvement culture

- Ensure timely and accurate booking in and safe storage of incoming deliveries

- Pick materials to feed manufacturing lines, confirming inventory movements in the system

- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure physical stocks are accurately reflected on systems

- Investigate issues and resolve or escalate where necessary

- Operate warehouse vehicles and equipment safely, adhering to SOPs

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to meet customer requirements

- Liaise with transport partners and field teams to ensure timely delivery of customer orders

- Motivate the team and support partners to achieve performance targets

**Requirements:**

- Demonstrable experience in a Warehouse or Stock Control role

- Strong capacity to prioritize, multitask, and manage competing deadlines

- Flexible and adaptable, able to work well under pressure

- License to operate FLT, Wave trucks, and other relevant warehouse equipment

**Desirable skills:**

- Sound knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies and problem-solving

- Recognized health and safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH)

- Experience working with projects and collating goods for projects

**What we offer:**

- Competitive salary: £31,700 - £47,500 per annum

- Night Premium: £4.25 per hour for work between 22:00 - 06:00

- Permanent role with 38.75 hours per week
