**Your New Role** As an Associate in our Power Systems team, you will contribute to the technical development and delivery of studies and analysis. Your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering consulting work related to various types of power systems studies and analysis, such as:

+ Static studies like load flow, fault level, and reactive compensation   + Dynamic studies like stability studies   + Harmonic analysis/power quality/filter design   + Transient overvoltage/insulation coordination   + Control interaction studies   + Earthing studies   + Protection coordination and Arc Flash studies

- Providing technical and project management leadership to support the project team

- Managing and resourcing the power systems team

- Ensuring technical quality of delivery of power systems projects, reports, and proposals

You will also contribute to the commercial development of studies and analysis within the power systems team by:

- Building and maintaining key client relationships to secure future business

- Identifying areas for integrated services through multi-disciplinary working

- Leading the development and delivery of project proposals

- Driving efficiency improvements in delivery, such as developing new scripts on power systems software packages

- Leading excellence in power systems software packages like DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD, IPSA, CDEGs, etc.

**Soft Skills** We are looking for someone with:

- Leadership skills: demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills

**Qualifications** We'd love to hear from you if you have:

- A degree in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems specialisation

- Extensive experience in power systems consulting

- A desire and ability to drive growth in power systems

- A wide network of industry contacts and clients

- Proactive and highly motivated to meet customer requirements

- Proven track record in leading teams

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often working on multiple projects/proposals at once

- Strong and in-depth market knowledge of the UK Power Industry

- Proven client relationships with UK clients

**Additional Information** Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification ("BGV") check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.
