The AML & ABC Analyst (Sharia) will be responsible for:

- Acting as the first responder to inquiries from regulators or authorities and delivering results within deadlines

- Handling periodic and ad-hoc reporting to external and internal stakeholders, including maintaining internal dashboards for ongoing monitoring

- Conducting transaction monitoring and creating STRs in goAML

- Establishing and ensuring company-wide training and awareness on AML & ABC matters to strengthen company compliance and risk culture

- Coordinating with various stakeholders in the event of a breach or incident

- Performing other AML-related tasks, including project-related work

The ideal candidate will have:

- A bachelor's degree in any major with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in compliance or anti-money laundering (AML)

- Familiarity with AML regulations, reporting, training, and practices within insurance or other financial institutions

- Understanding of anti-bribery and corruption (ABC) concepts, with strong awareness of risk and control principles

- Knowledge of life insurance business processes and products is an advantage

- Proficiency in English (spoken and written), with good presentation skills and strong computer literacy (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)

- Detail-oriented, able to work under tight deadlines, capable of working independently while remaining a collaborative team player with a positive attitude
