## Job Overview

The IT Operations team at Anthropic is seeking an IT Support Engineer who can provide technical support while ensuring a smooth employee experience. You will work closely with IT Engineering and Security teams to handle support requests, automate repetitive tasks, and improve processes.

## Key Responsibilities

- Triage and resolve technical issues across hardware, software, networking, and accounts

- Diagnose and fix issues in macOS, ChromeOS, iOS, Android, and core SaaS platforms like Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, and Atlassian

- Troubleshoot device issues including enrollment, configuration profiles, and policy enforcement

- Support access management and employee lifecycle workflows

- Handle escalations requiring cross-team coordination and participate in on-call rotations for urgent issues

- Provide hands-on support for user technology, AV systems, conference rooms, and printers

- Communicate effectively with users at various technical levels

- Write and maintain internal documentation and spot patterns in support requests to identify areas for improvement

- Streamline onboarding and other high-volume operations, contribute to automation efforts, and maintain device management systems

- Write scripts in Bash or Python to automate repetitive tasks

## Minimum Qualifications

- Hands-on IT support experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment

- Experience supporting macOS endpoints and other operating systems

- Google Workspace and Slack administration experience

- Understanding of identity and access fundamentals, MDM, and endpoint management

- Basic scripting skills in Bash or Python

- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

## Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with zero-trust security concepts and endpoint security tooling

- Networking basics: DNS, DHCP, VPNs

- Experience with IT projects beyond day-to-day support

- Familiarity with AI tools

- Interest in developing deeper technical skills
