As the Accounting Analyst, you will be the owner of Komodo Health's 'financial front door.' This role involves managing the full-cycle flow of funds and transforming raw billing data into high-integrity financial records that our leadership relies on to make crucial decisions. You will ensure every invoice is coded accurately and every employee is reimbursed promptly, building trust with global vendors and colleagues.

**The Team:** The Accounting team at Komodo Health serves as the analytical backbone of our global operations, ensuring financial integrity and transparency through rigorous standards and innovative processes.

**The Mission & Opportunity** As the Accounting Analyst, you will focus on zero-defect processing, maintaining a near-perfect accuracy rate in invoice entry. You will also work on expense efficiency, eradicating processing backlogs and providing flawless support for financial audits.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Process all incoming vendor bills with extreme attention to detail and correct GL/departmental coding.

- Review and reimburse global expense reports, ensuring compliance with Komodo's policies.

- Perform double-checks on payment amounts and banking details to prevent significant financial discrepancies.

- Act as the face of Finance for vendors, resolving disputes or missed payments with professional 'intellectual honesty'.

- Keep the ERP vendor master file organized and up-to-date.

- Pull samples and provide documentation for the annual financial audit process.

**What you bring to Komodo Health (required):**

- Currently reside in Costa Rica with proper work authorization.

- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance.

- B/A in accounting or finance is preferred.

- Hyper-organization skills to manage high transaction volumes.

- Operational speed with a growth mindset prioritizing accuracy.

- Exceptional attention to detail, especially with numeric entry and GL coding.

- Strong written and verbal English skills.

- Understanding of accounting logic for mapping expenses to correct departments and accounts.

- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize.

- Professional-level English and Spanish for effective collaboration.

**Nice to Have Skills:**

- International accounting exposure.

- Audit preparation experience.

- Familiarity with automation tools.

- Experience with specialized procurement or expense platforms.
