## Description

The Boeing Company is seeking a Software Developer / Engineer (Experienced or Senior) to join the Phantom Works Weapons team in St. Charles, MO (St. Louis Area). This team supports future weapons programs, including the Next Generation Cruise Missile program.

In this role, you will work across multiple stakeholders and programs to help develop software solutions to complex challenges that require both ingenuity and disciplined execution.

**Responsibilities:**

- Designs, develops, tests, and maintains embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards.

- Reviews, analyzes, and translates customer requirements into initial design of software products.

- Develops interface definitions.

- Performs unit and integration testing.

- Participates in peer reviews.

- Supports software system integration and test.

- Create software documentation.

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):**

- Bachelor’s Degree.

- Active Secret with ability to obtain Top Secret & Special Program Access.

- 3+ years of experience in C++, Python, and C#.

- 3+ years of experience with Linux development.

- 3+ years of experience git or similar version control system.

- 3+ years of experience in software architecture development and open architectures.

- 3+ years with network architectures and software applications that communicate through TCP/UDP based networks.

**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**

- 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Knowledge of host environments, including processors, operating systems and networks.

- Knowledge of software architecture and design methodologies.

- Knowledge of software development processes in compliance with established internal and industry standards, guidelines, and best practices.
