## Description

Join Ford Motor Company's agile team as a Staff Mechanical Design Engineer, playing a key role in outlining early engineering feasibility and specifying, developing, analyzing, and validating systems and electronic assemblies for the next generation of electric vehicles.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Ford's Design Studio, Marketing, Vehicle Engineering, and Operations teams.

Responsibilities:

- Develop product layouts and technology concepts, particularly in electronics systems

- Create early prototypes and new technologies leading into scalable mass production

- Collaborate with teams to fully realize ideas that will become new product differentiators

Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on industry experience

- 4+ years of hands-on, detailed product design experience

- Proficiency in 3D CAD (any modeling package)

- Basic GD&T knowledge and experience releasing 2D drawings
