## Description

We are seeking a Front Desk Agent to join our team at Best Western in Sterling, Virginia. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for anticipating guest needs, exceeding expectations, and implementing creative solutions to provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guests in a friendly and positive manner

- Process check-ins and check-outs, verify billing, create reservations, and process special requests

- Assist guests with knowledge of hotel property, local attractions, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services

- Work as a team player to meet guest needs and contribute to efforts of other departments

- Understand and follow B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group's guest service recovery program

- Follow proper selling techniques to maximize room revenues and drive sales

- Monitor room availability, follow restrictions, and adhere to booking policies and procedures

- Produce required volume of work by planning, organizing, and prioritizing work duties

- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with regulations and company procedures

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED required

- 1+ years prior guest service experience in a hospitality setting

- Excellent verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis
