## Description

We are seeking a skilled Shift Fitter to join our team at Poplars AD Plant in Cannock. As a Shift Fitter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our anaerobic digestion facility's safe, efficient, and reliable operation through proactive maintenance and rapid fault response.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Perform planned and reactive maintenance across the plant.

- Quickly diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.

- Support installation work and equipment improvements.

- Drive plant reliability, uptime, and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with operations teams to minimise downtime.

- Coordinate specialist maintenance activities with contractors.

- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.

- Support preventative maintenance programmes and root cause analysis.

**Requirements:**

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Mechanical or Electrical Fitter role.

- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

- Experience working in a fast-paced process, manufacturing, waste, water, or industrial environment.

- Understanding of planned preventative maintenance principles.

- Ability to prioritise and respond effectively to breakdowns.

- Relevant Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification preferred.

**Working Conditions:**

- Average 42 hours per week.

- Shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 days off.

- Day shifts: 07:00 – 19:00, Night shifts: 19:00 – 07:00.

- 10% additional payment for night shifts worked between 19:00 and 07:00.

- Plus paid 26 cover shifts per year.
