## Description

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Mid-Career Level Software Systems Engineer to join the AWACS Post Delivery Program to assist with development and maintenance of software applications used in support of AWACS sustainment activities.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop and maintain multiple software applications

- Ensure software cyber security compliance

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external customers to define software requirements and translate them into functional software systems

- Deliver software contract deliverables to customers

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent

- Experience developing and troubleshooting web-based applications written in C#

- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server for setting up and maintaining web and SQL database servers

- Experience setting up and maintaining websites in Microsoft IIS

- Solid understanding of networking principles

- Ability to translate customer requirements into functional software systems

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience with ASP.NET Core, Blazor, Entity Framework, HTML 5 and JavaScript

- Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience

- Crystal Reports experience

- Experience with LLM assisted coding

- Experience with CI/CD using source control systems such as Git, Azure DevOps or Team Foundation Server
