## Description

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist's Outpatient Physical Therapy Department is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to support weekend coverage. The ideal candidate will deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care and possess strong interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and time management skills.

**Responsibilities:**

- Provides patient care assessment and treatment, ensuring comprehensive and functional evaluations and treatments.

- Maintains accurate patient documentation, completing evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes per policy.

- Meets department financial and productivity standards, understanding budgeted expectations.

- Participates in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services.

- Promotes professional development and education of other healthcare workers.

- Supervises physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students.

- Communicates professionally and timely with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers.

- Provides appropriate patient care according to age/developmental guidelines.

- Adheres to general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited physical therapy school required; M.S. or D.P.T. preferred.

- Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the State of North Carolina with current licensure.

- CPR certification required every two years.
