## Description

As a Plant Engineering Supervisor at 3M, you will provide supervision and direction to maintenance technicians, performing maintenance tasks on machines, systems, and facilities to maximize reliability and efficiency of operations.

You will promote a safe, sustainable, and learning-oriented work environment by modeling safe behaviors, resolving safety risks, leading incident investigations, and implementing sustainable corrective actions.

You will lead, coach, and develop employees through strong floor presence, clear expectations, timely feedback, recognition, and a focus on employee development.

You will supervise and provide technical guidance to Plant Engineering personnel performing maintenance on machines, systems, and facilities to improve equipment reliability, eliminate chronic equipment losses, and maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness.

You will shift maintenance practices from reactive response to proactive and predictive strategies by using root cause analysis, precision maintenance best practices, maintenance history, and cross-functional input.

You will build future-ready team capabilities in areas such as technical skills, CMMS utilization, reliability practices, data-driven decision-making, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

You will schedule, assign, and direct maintenance work while monitoring progress, confirming proper procedures, evaluating quality of work, and supporting structured problem-solving.

**Requirements:**

- High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution and Seven (7) years of manufacturing maintenance experience in a private, public, government or military environment

- OR Associate's degree and Five (5) years of manufacturing maintenance experience in a private, public, government or military environment.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

**Salary Range:** $109,202 - $133,469
