## Description

We're seeking a Product Designer to join our Experience Design team at Capital One. You'll combine craft expertise and leadership skills to co-create innovative solutions and influence product strategy.

**Role Expectations**

As a Product Designer, you'll:

- Demonstrate product design expertise, leveraging various skills across interaction, visual, and service design

- Lead design projects, directing and delegating work for junior team members and building partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders

- Navigate partner and stakeholder needs, focusing on customer-centred solutions and inclusive design

- Apply business-focused insights to shape a shared point of view for your team, partners, and stakeholders

- Demonstrate problem-solving skills, understanding tech, data capabilities, and emerging technologies

- Collaborate across lines of business and the organisation to foster collaboration and share solutions

- Present work using a human-centred approach, integrating design frameworks, data, and research insights

**Basic Qualifications**

- At least 5 years of experience in a Product Design role

- At least 5 years of experience in design and prototyping tools such as Figma

**Preferred Qualifications**

- At least 6 years of experience in a Product Design role

- At least 6 years of experience in design and prototyping tools such as Figma

- Experience working with and contributing to an established design system

- Experience collaborating with product, tech, and business partners

- Experience leading design projects or teams

- Experience working in heavily regulated, data-heavy problem spaces

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are: McLean, VA: $164,800 - $188,100 New York, NY: $179,700 - $205,100

This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation.
