## Tool & Die Maker - 3rd

We are seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker to join our team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. As a Tool & Die Maker, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and making engineering changes to all tools and fixtures. You will also assist technical services in machine repair, change over, set up, and operation as required.

### Responsibilities

- Repair, maintain, and make engineering changes to all tools and fixtures

- Assist technical services in machine repair, change over, set up, and operation as required

- Safely operate all tool room equipment

- Assemble and disassemble tooling, dies, and gauges

- Troubleshoot and resolve tooling problems

- Work with various materials such as tool steels, plastics, aluminum, and copper

- Acquire personal tools to perform job assignment

### Qualifications and Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- 2+ years of experience in a tool and die making environment

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy equipment
