## Description

Fuse Energy is seeking a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to lead and oversee high-voltage (HV) operational, commissioning, and safety activities across electrical infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will ensure safe, compliant, and efficient energisation and network operation.

Responsibilities include:

- Planning, executing, and overseeing HV switching schedules

- Issuing safety documentation

- Ensuring strict adherence to HV safety procedures

- Acting as the authorised point of control for HV systems and switching activities

- Performing and witnessing pre-commissioning, testing, inspection, and commissioning of HV/LV equipment

- Managing fault location, diagnostics, and repair activities

- Developing and reviewing method statements, risk assessments, and safety procedures

- Supervising and mentoring junior staff

Requirements:

- Current or recent Senior Authorised Person (SAP) authorisation (minimum 33kV, ideally up to 132kV)

- HNC, Degree, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering

- 5+ years' experience in HV/LV operations, commissioning, or substation delivery within the utilities sector

- Strong knowledge of HV/LV networks, including cables, protection systems, and SCADA

- Hands-on experience with electrical testing

- Experience in fault finding, diagnostics, and outage planning

- Strong understanding of Distribution Safety Rules, HSE legislation, and regulatory frameworks

- Recognised Health & Safety qualification
