## Description

WSP is currently seeking a Senior CAD Designer - Structures for AU Mining infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and editing drawings in compliance with WSP CAD Standards and detailing practices, as well as producing high-quality output using Autodesk Advance Steel software.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare drawings, including conceptual sketches and detailed construction drawings for structures using Autodesk Advance Steel software or Bentley Microstation.

- Develop 3D models and extract 2D drawings from 3D models.

- Conduct quality checks on own work and follow internal QC processes.

- Review engineering drawings and verify modifications.

- Report progress and communicate with internal peers and project teams.

- Participate in design and provide input to the design team.

- Carry out audits of adherence to WSP Management and Quality processes.

- Ensure Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices.

- Develop expertise and stay up-to-date with developments in Drafting skills.

- Support the company's approach to sustainability.

- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary project teams.

- Identify improvements to enhance WSP service to clients.

- Develop accurate 3D steel models for fabrication detailing.

- Produce and extract fabrication shop drawings, assembly drawings, and part drawings from 3D models.

- Apply relevant fabrication and welding standards.

- Prepare marking plans and erection drawings.

- Generate fabrication deliverables.

Qualifications:

- 5-12 years' experience.

- Diploma or Degree in Civil/structure or relevant field.

- Experience with Autodesk software such as AutoCAD, Advance Steel, Revit, Navisworks, Vault, BIM 360 or Bentley Microstation and Projectwise.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
